Tomáš Pálka

(*1978)

is the co-founder and present head of the composers‘ association Konvergence and free-lance composer. Lately he has been incorporating non-musical elements into his compositional framework: scenic and lighting acts, verbal and motional performance, and collaboration with visual or conceptual artists. The leading principle is space incorporation into the compositional framework. His compositions derive their themes from the non-musical part of the programme and are often inspired by spiritual principles reflected in the framework of the composition and thematic content and the music is contemplative, introspective, and delicate.
